This article explains how to configure RelayFax to send a message back to a non licensed user with RelayFax 7.0.6.

When a message is collected by RelayFax that does not originate from one of the addresses listed on the Accounts Tab, RelayFax will delete the incoming message, and then may take two possible actions listed below. You may configure RelayFax to do one, both, or neither of these tasks.

From the RelayFax menu bar:

  1. Select Accounts.
  2. Select the Account Manager.
  3. Click the Options/Password tab.
  4. By clicking the 'send note telling him/her they are not authorized box', RelayFax will convert the contents of the NOACCESS.DAT file (located in the …\RelayFax\app directory) into an Email message and send it to the non-licensed user.
  5. By clicking the 'inform (insert email address here) about incident' box, RelayFax will send a message to the address specified informing them that an unauthorized user has attempted to use the RelayFax system. Additionally, the complete message of the unauthorized user will be included with this Email notification as a file attachment.
  6. Click the OK button.
