Using RelayFax with MDaemon 7.x; No Fax Cover Sheet unless it is using the Fax Small Note option Print

This article explains how to setup MDaemon 7.x and RelayFax so that when used in conjunction with MDaemon you can send a fax without a coverpage and not have to include NOCOVERPAGE:TRUE in each fax.

From the MDaemon menu bar:

  1. Click Security.
  2. Click Content Filter.
  3. Click the New Rule button.
  4. Give the Rule a Name.
  5. Check the box for If the Message Body Contains.
  6. In the Rule Description box click on the link for contains a specific string.
  7. Enter ClientVersion:.
  8. Click the Add button.
  9. Click the OK button.
  10. Check the box for Skip n Rules.
  11. Click on the link for Specify Information.
  12. Enter 1.
  13. Click the OK button.
  14. Click the New Rule button.
  15. Give the Rule a Name.
  16. Check the box for If the To Header Contains.
  17. In the Rule Description box click on the link for contains a specific string.
  18. Enter the Email address of the RelayFax account.
  19. Click the Add button.
  20. Click the OK button.
  21. Check the box for Append a Corporate Signature.
  22. In the Rule Description box click on the link for Specify Information.
  23. Enter NOCOVERPAGE:TRUE.
  24. Click the Save as Text file button.
  25. Enter a filename.
  26. Click the Save button.
  27. Click the OK button.
  28. Click the OK button.

Additional Comments

 

If you are using the RelayFax client and are entering information into the Note: field a cover page is required when you send the fax.
