This article explains how to setup RelayFax to require all outbound faxes to include a password.
From the RelayFax menu bar:
- Click Accounts.
- Click Account Manager.
- In the Real Name box, type out the Real Name for this account (example: Megan Ball).
- In the Email address box type out the email address for this account (example: user01@example.com).
- In the Password field you can create a user password for this account.
- Click Add.
- Click OK.
Note: Once you have set this option, each user will have to place this new password within their RelayFax SMTP Client.
RelayFax SMTP Client
- Load the RelayFax SMTP Client.
- Right click the RelayFax SMTP Client icon in the system tray to open a pop up menu.
- Click Properties.
- In the Fax Password field enter the password you were given for the fax server.
- Click Apply.
- Click OK.
Additional Comments
When you create the user accounts you have the choice of creating a password or leaving it blank.
