Configuring the RelayFax Client Auto Updating feature (100) Print

This article explains how to setup the RelayFax Client auto update feature.

From the RelayFax menu bar:

1. Click File.
2. Click RelayFax Properties.
   
3. Click the Client Updates tab.
   
4. If you would like the users to be able to request update instructions check the box for Allow clients to request update instructions from the server.
   
5. If you would like to notify users of an update when they send a fax with an older version of the RelayFax client check the box for Automatically inform users when a newer version of the client is available.
   
6. Click Apply.
   
7. Click OK.
   

To update the client:

1. From a machine that is running the RelayFax Client Right click on the RelayFax SMTP client icon in the system tray.
2. Select Update RelayFax Client from the menu.
   
3. Click on the OK button in the pop up window that appears.
