This article will explain how to use the silent install option when installing the RelayFax Client on a workstation.
Note: Currently, you will need to ensure you have the Print Spooler started on the target workstation. You can use Windows Services to accomplish this.
- Download the RelayFax client from our website located under RelayFax Desktop Clients & Printer Drivers: http://www.altn.com/Products/RelayFax-Network-Fax-Manager/Drivers/
- Navigate to Start | All Programs | Accessories | and click Command Prompt
- Navigate to the path you downloaded the above .exe to in Step 1
- Type ‘filename.exe /s’ (Replace filename.exe with the name of the downloaded file) and hit the Enter key
This will run the RelayFax Client installation in the system tray.
Once complete, the user then will be able to launch the RelayFax Client
from the Start Menu.
