RelayFax does not see a network printer as an available printer (444) Print

You have a network printer to which you would like to print faxes, however it is not showing in the list of available printers.

  1. In the RelayFax server console select a fax in the Received Faxes tab
  2. Right click on the fax and choose view/edit
  3. The fax will open in the RelayFax viewer.
  4. Click File->Print setup.
  5. In the lower left corner of the dialog box choose Network.
  6. This opens another box which lets you choose any network printer.

Once a printer has been chosen you can then go back to the RelayFax and click on Rules >Default fax rules > Select printer and then the printer will show up in the list of available printers.

Additional Comments

If you are running RelayFax as a service, you may also need to set up Network Resource Access credentials in order to successfully use a network printer. That is located in RelayFax under the File menu.
