Getting Outlook NetFolders to work with MDaemon Print

  • 0

If your NetFolders are not working correctly, there is likely a setting that needs to be adjusted.

From the MDaemon menu bar:

  1. Click Setup.
  2. Click Miscellaneous Options.
  3. Click the Headers tab.
  4. Make sure that 'Strip X-Type Headers for Local Messages' is unchecked. If this is enabled it will strip a header required for NetFolders to work properly.

Also if you have the Header Translation Option Enabled you must set the X-MS-TNEF-Correlator header as an exception in the Header Translation setup.

From the MDaemon menu bar:

  1. Click Setup.
  2. Click Header Translation.
  3. Click Exceptions.
  4. Enter 'X-MS-TNEF-Correlator' in the Header value field.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click OK.

Additional Comments

NetFolders were present in Outlook 2000 and earlier versions.
