Does MDaemon PRO Messaging Server, BlackBerry Edition require a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) data plan from my cell phone carrier?
MDaemon PRO Messaging Server, BlackBerry Edition currently does not require a BES data plan in order to use the full BlackBerry syncing features. However, it will require at least a BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) data plan from your cell phone carrier.
Depending on the BlackBerry smartphone and Operating System installed, if you have a BIS data plan from your carrier, you may not have the Enterprise Activation option on your device. You can use the USB cable method listed in the Related Articles below to activate your device.
