This article explains how to configure an Out Of Office Reply on a BES enabled smartphone.

From your BlackBerry BES enabled smartphone:

1. Click the Desktop email icon representing the BES enabled MDaemon account.
   
   
   
2. Press the Blackberry Menu key
3. Select Options
   
   
   
4. Select Email Settings
   
   
   
5. Enable Use Out Of Office Reply by selecting Yes
   
   
   
6. Type the Out Of Office message you desire
   
   
   
7. Click the BlackBerry Menu key
8. Select Save
   
   
   

Note: This procedure will enable the Auto Responder on your MDaemon account. Disabling the Auto Responder from MDaemon/WorldClient will also disable it on the BlackBerry device.
