MDaemon 13x: Skip SMTP max message size check if SMTP Authentication is used Print

Use this to skip SMTP max message size checking if SMTP Authentication has been used.  This option can be used per domain also.

To globally enable this feature:

  1. Select Setup
  2. Select Default Domains / Servers
  3. Select Servers
  4. Check ...refuses messages which are not RFC compliant
  5. Enter a value, in KB, for ...refuses all messages larger than
  6. Check ...but not if the SMTP session is authenticated under ...refuses all messages larger than X
  7. Click Apply
  8. Click OK


Note: The option for ...refuses messages to domain larger than X refers to the default domain.

To enable this feature per domain:

  1. Select Setup
  2. Select Domain Manager
  3. Select the domain in question
  4. Enter a value, in KB, for Refuses all messages larger than
  5. Check the box ...but not if the SMTP session is authenticated
  6. Click Apply
  7. Click OK
