MDaemon 13.5.x: How do I give users permission to access Public Folders? Print

This article explains how to grant users permission to access MDaemon’s Public Folders.

From the MDaemon console:

1. Click the Setup menu
2. Click Public Folder Manager 
   
3. Select the Public Folder you wish to edit
4. Click Edit ACLs 
   
5. Click the Users Icon
   
6. Check the users you wish to grant permission to access the Public Folder
7. Click Ok 
   
8. Select the user from the list
9. Enable the Access Rights that are required (For more information on the access rights, click Help to get a detailed description).
10. Click Replace
11. Click OK 
    

Note: Non-email folders will require the user to use WorldClient or our Outlook Connector product to view the folders.
