This article explains how you can enable email message pre-population for all BES enabled accounts without a device PIN change.
Warning: Registry changes could potentially cause system instability. Before proceeding, please ensure you have a backup of the Windows Registry and/or a full system backup.
To enable email message pre population for all 'BES enabled' accounts without a device PIN change, complete the following:
- On the MDaemon server, click the Windows Start Menu
- Click Run...

- Type 'regedit'
- Click OK

- Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

- Expand SOFTWARE

- Expand Research In Motion

- Expand BlackBerry Enterprise Server

- Right-click Agents
- Select New, then click DWORD Value

- Type 'ForceMsgPrepopOnActivation' and hit the enter key

- Double-click ForceMsgPrepopOnActivation

- In the Value data field, type '1', then click OK

- Right-click Agents
- Select New, then click DWORD Value

- Type 'ForceMsgPrepopDays' and hit the enter key

- Double-click ForceMsgPrepopDays

- In the Value data field, type '0000000e', then click OK

- Right-click Agents
- Select New, then click DWORD Value

- Type 'ForceMsgPrepopMessages' and hit the enter key

- Double-click ForceMsgPrepopMessages

- In the Value data field, type '000002ee', then click OK

- Click the File
- Click Exit

This will force email message pre population for all 'BES enabled' accounts without a PIN change depending on the settings you have configured here:
- Click the Setup menu
- Click Mobile Device Management

- Expand BlackBerry Enterprise Server
- Click Options
- Synchronization options:

… send this many old messages to the BlackBerry
