- WorldClient Instant Messenger version 17.0 now supports the XMPP protocol and can be used to connect to either protocol.
- Most XMPP clients can resolve DNS SRV records for auto-discovery of host names
- Enabled by default, the XMPP is a service installed by MDaemon that utilizes port 5222 (non-SSL) and 5223 (SSL)
- To view/edit the XMPP server and/or ports:
- Select Setup
- Select Web & IM Services...
- Click XMPP
- Make desired changes
- Click OK when finished
