Configuring MDaemon as a Gateway to RelayFax Print

This article explains how to setup a gateway in MDaemon to be monitored by RelayFax for outgoing faxes.

MDaemon

1. 1. Click Gateways.
   2. Click New Gateway.
      
   3. In the Domain Name field type 'Relay.Fax'.
      
   4. In the Place Message Files for All Users of This Domain Here field, enter the directory where you wish to store incoming mail, which arrives for the domain.
      
   5. Make sure the option for Automatically extract embedded attachments is unchecked.
      
   6. Click the POP/IMAP tab.
      
   7. In the Name field, type 'fax'.
      
   8. In the Pass field, type the password for that account.
      
   9. Click the Create/Update Account button.
      
   10. Click Apply.
       
   11. Click OK.
       
2. RelayFax
   
   1. Click Tools.
   2. Click Mail Sources.
      
   3. In the Server field, type the IP address of your MDaemon machine.
      
   4. In the User Name field, type 'fax'.
      
   5. In the Password field, type the password for that account.
      
   6. Click the Add button.
      
   7. Click Apply.
      
   8. Click OK.
