(FAQ) What is the difference between DomainPOP and MultiPOP? Print

DomainPOP is used if you'd like the host mailbox's contents to be 'parsed' for recipient information and delivered to various users on your MDaemon machine. This would typically be the case if the ISP or mail host is hosting a 'Catch-all' mailbox for all addresses on a domain.

 

MultiPOP is used if the mailbox contents at the host will only be delivered to one user on your MDaemon server. This function takes all mail from the mailbox and simply places it in the user's account on the MDaemon server.
