To establish a connection with the BlackBerry Infrastructure when MDaemon 12 is behind a firewall, you will need to verify that port 3101 is open for outbound initiated, bi-directional, and Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) traffic.
In order to use the BES feature in MDaemon 12, you will need to ensure you have port 3101 open for outbound traffic on your firewall.
