After installing Outlook Connector, the toolbar is not displayed in Outlook.
- Open Outlook and select the Help menu.
- Chose Disabled Items...
- If Outlook Connector is an item listed in this dialog, highlight it and click Remove. If OC is not listed, skip to step 6.
- Click OK twice and restart Outlook.
- If Outlook Connector was not listed in Disabled Items, shut down Outlook.
- Search your hard drive for a file called extend.dat. It should be here: C:\Documents and Settings\%profile_name%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook (where %profile_name% is the name of your Windows profile.) This is the file that contains Outlook's toolbar information.
- Rename the file to extend.dat.old.
- Start Outlook. It should rebuild the toolbars.
