Outlook Connector's toolbar is not displayed (413) Print

  • 0

After installing Outlook Connector, the toolbar is not displayed in Outlook.

  1. Open Outlook and select the Help menu.
  2. Chose Disabled Items...
  3. If Outlook Connector is an item listed in this dialog, highlight it and click Remove. If OC is not listed, skip to step 6.
  4. Click OK twice and restart Outlook.
  5. If Outlook Connector was not listed in Disabled Items, shut down Outlook.
  6. Search your hard drive for a file called extend.dat. It should be here: C:\Documents and Settings\%profile_name%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook (where %profile_name% is the name of your Windows profile.) This is the file that contains Outlook's toolbar information.
  7. Rename the file to extend.dat.old.
  8. Start Outlook. It should rebuild the toolbars.
