Special Instructions for Office 365 Users

If you're using Microsoft Office 365 and experience high mail volume, you may encounter rate limiting on your new SpamTitan IPs. To prevent mail delivery delays, follow these recommendations:

  1. MX Record Transition Strategy
Temporarily set your MX records to include both your Office 365 mail server FQDN and SpamTitan, with equal priority. Maintain this for 1–2 days to allow for a proper warm-up period. After that, you can fully switch to SpamTitan.

  2. Whitelisting SpamTitan IPs in Office 365
Configure Office 365 to trust the SpamTitan IPs to avoid your emails being marked as spam. Refer to this guide:
Ensuring Email Is Not Marked as Spam in Office 365

  3. Additional Resource

By carefully configuring your IPs, MX records, and Office 365 trust settings, you can ensure a secure and efficient transition to SpamTitan without impacting your mail flow.
