This article will explain how to move existing BIS integrated accounts to ‘BES enabled’ accounts.
In order to move existing BIS accounts to ‘BES enabled’ accounts,
you will need to manually remove the MDaemon integrated BIS account from
each BlackBerry device. You may also remove the end users BIS account
through their carrier’s BIS site.
Note: Removing the email
account does not remove any prior email messages received on the MDaemon
integrated BIS account from the BlackBerry device. The icon for the
MDaemon integrated BIS account will remove itself from the home screen.
All email messages from that account will default to the Messages icon
on the home screen. You may remove them manually to avoid duplicates.
