Starting today, Google Workspace subscriptions include new AI features designed to help users improve their productivity and innovation. With these changes, we will also be updating subscription pricing starting March 17, 2025, and stopping the sale of Gemini for Google Workspace Add-on subscriptions on January 15, 2025.
We have provided additional information to guide you through the change.
What this means for your customers
Starting today, we are rolling out new AI features to Google Workspace plans*, helping to:
Quickly summarize long emails, draft responses, and find information in your inbox with Gemini in the Gmail side panel.
Get help analyzing existing documents or write and refine new content with Gemini in the Docs side panel.
Summarize spreadsheets and get help creating tables and formulas with Gemini in the Sheets side panel.
Automatically capture meeting notes so you can focus on the conversation with Take notes for me in Meet.
Chat with Google's next-gen AI, Gemini Advanced, to research information, brainstorm ideas, and streamline your most demanding projects.
Accelerate team knowledge sharing by uploading your sources to get instant insights and podcast-like Audio Overviews with NotebookLM Plus
**. This enhanced version offers notebook customization, advanced sharing and 5x more Audio Overviews, queries, notebooks, and sources.
These features were previously available only to users with a Gemini for Google Workspace Add-on, but will now be included with Google Workspace Business and Enterprise plans. Your customers will see these features added to their subscription in the coming weeks. Soon, your customers will get access to even more Gemini features in their Google Workspace apps.

New and existing resold subscriptions will be subject to updated prices starting March 17, 2025. The specific date that your customer's subscription price will increase depends on their plan type, subscription size, renewal date, and other factors. For Annual/Fixed-Term Plans, subscription prices will be updated at next plan renewal, no sooner than March 17, 2025.
*Gemini feature availability varies by Google Workspace edition.
** NotebookLM Plus is currently available as an additional Google service, and is covered under the NotebookLM Plus for Google Workspace Additional Terms of Service. NotebookLM Plus is coming soon as a Google Workspace Core Service.
What you need do
1. We will provide you with at least 30 days notice before updates to your customers' Google Workspace Business and Enterprise pricing are made. Google will not proactively contact customers about the pricing update or changes to resold Gemini for Google Workspace Add-on subscriptions. Please communicate these updates to your customers.
2. If your customers have a Gemini for Google Workspace Add-on purchased via an online or offline order form, they will continue to have access to the Add-on's features, but you will not be charged for the Add-on after January 31, 2025. For more information about these billing changes (including changes applied to online billing plans), refer to the Help Center. We will contact you in the coming months with further instructions regarding the transition process for Gemini for Google Workspace Add-ons.
3.Refer to the Help Center and materials on Partner Advantage for details of pricing and feature updates, including the upcoming Partner Advantage Live Webinar on January 16, 2025.
4. Google Workspace incentives will continue to reward partners for New and Expansion sales in 2025. For the latest details on incentives, refer to the Partner Advantage Incentives page.
5. Inform your customers of the updated subscription pricing, additional features coming to their Google Workspace plans, and changes to the Gemini for Google Workspace Add-on subscriptions as needed. Learn more about how the existing Google Workspace data protections are automatically applied to AI features, and the available Gemini Admin controls.
