Critical Update to SecurityGateway Antivirus Engine

Summary
The Cyren Malware Detection (antivirus engine) has been replaced and Cyren's proprietary Recurrent Pattern Detection/Outbreak Protection service has been removed (no longer available). This update adds a new Malware Detection (antivirus engine) to the software.
Affected Software
The versions listed below have been tested and determined to be affected. We recommend that administrators download the appropriate version and language file listed below.
There are no known issues that customers may experience when downloading the update.

We have emailed updates to all users about the new IKARUS Security antivirus engine that has replaced Cyren's AV in MDaemon Antivirus and SecurityGateway products. Due to the unexpected news of Cyren's decision to shut down and liquidate the company, we are uncertain about when the antivirus signature updates will cease and anticipate not receiving any notification when it will happen.
Important Note: Even if you are not utilizing the antivirus features, important vulnerability fixes have been released for MDaemon and SecurityGateway as part of the Critical Update announcement. If you have not done so already, we strongly encourage you to immediately update your software by visiting the Critical Update page on our website.
